So here’s the thing about the de Havilland mosquito it’s a ww2 British combat plane that literally earned the nickname “wooden wonder” because its frame was mostly made of wood.
Originally, they designed it as a fast bomber with zero guns, just relying on pure speed and agility to outrun enemy fighters instead of trying to shoot them down. it ended up being one of the fastest planes of its time, so they adapted it for basically everything: night fighting, scouting, transport, and coastal strikes across Europe and Asia.
